Hello, I updated the new Oxygen is with Android 10 before 2 days.
after this update, getting few issues, like, the apps which use the fingerprint scanner to open, for few of them, this scanner is not appearing on the screen even after the fingerprint is enabled for the application. in my case, I am trying to unlock the iMobile ( ICICI bank application) but on the login page, fingerprint is not appearing. same for the other banking apps as well ( Citi, RBL etc)

can you please check and suggest if something is wrong?

Are you sure the apps you use are 100% android 10 supported already?

No not sure that every app is already supporting android 10. but I think paypal is big enough and at least the Playstore should support android 10. Activating the fingerprint in the Playstore app lets it crash immediately.

    Hi... thanks for your reply.
Actually I am not sure that every banking app ( which I am having) has Android 10 support but one thing is there like, I have one friend who uses One Plus 7. She got the same update and even after update, her apps are supporting to fingerprint sensor while logging in. I will check with application support to the Android 10 but still if 7 is working fine, then why not with 7 Pro?

I hate to suggest this...but....if the financial institution you are having issues with does not have an answer, and you cannot live with this issue, then you may have to do a factory reset WITHOUT letting any backed up apps reinstall on their own! After doing the reset make sure to install all your apps one at a time manually. I'm willing to bet that this will fix your problems. If it doesn't then it's the apps themselves. YMMV

    hi guys,

for everyone who do not want to do a factory reset. what for me worked was to not only delete all fingerprints, but also to deactive the complete security by deleting the pin, password or pattern (what ever you are using). this does reset a few things in the android system and solved the problem for me. I hope this helps someone!
