I dont have too much troubles with the sensor and it fails often when your finger is out of range. but I do notice that if I wanna pay some quick Google payment, my finger isn't flat on the screen causing it to fail quite easily. you don't need to press hard on the screen....... so my tip is register another thumb fingerprint or whatever finger u use most often. that solves the problem 99.9999 of the time. now I have 3 thumbs registered...... a bit hard to register second and third fingerprint since it pops message says that your finger is register. tilt or angle different you'll get through. and these tilted fingerprint is exactly the reason causing the previous failure. just try it. works like a dream.
