    I am having the same issue in my OnePlus 8T. Have tried restarting the device, deleted the caches and add new fingerprint but still having the same issues.
    The screen lock is working fine but it is not working on apps like whatsapp, Paytm, etc.

    My fingerprint sensor was working perfectly until the latest update last night, now it doesn't work at all and the only suggestion I got from the customer service chat was to completely wipe my phone and start over

    Cant set fingerprint lock on my OnePlus 8. The error " Enrollment not completed- Fingerprint registration error , please try again" keeps on appearing immediately after selecting the fingerprint unlock option under settings.
    Please help!

    Same issue -- 50% of time screen unlock and 80% of time fingerprint scan does not work -- on 7T Pro McLaren). Clean screen regularly -- that's not the issue. Fingerprints whacked and re-done. That's not the issue either. The issue seems to be that the technology isn't working reliably. That's OnePlus' issue. What is OnePlus going to do to fix it. A bit fed up with this issue!

    In-app Fingerprint not working. Everytime I switch off the phone, it works for some time and then again stops working..tried clearing cache, deleting old fingerprints but in vain.

    Híiiii bro don't listen any one, just go OnePlus service centre and tell them to re-calibrate finger print. I was face this issue very long time. Every one give me ton of advices but nothing happened finally i decide to move service centre and now my device work fine 🤗
