    Hi All,

If you guys are facing Battery Drain/ Slow Charging/ Lag in Gaming /Stability Issues and other bugs after updating to Android 10 then downgrade to Oxygen OS Version 9.0.16 (OnePlus 6T)/ 9.0.8 (OnePlus 6).

I have upgraded and downgraded my phone multiple times and i see that the best Oxygen OS Version is 9.0.16 (OnePlus 6T)/ 9.0.8 (OnePlus 6) which doesn't have any issues.

There are currently multiple bugs in Android 10 so wait till OnePlus fix these issues.

    Hope it helps :)

Thanks @ironass for the below points

Note: 1. Backup your data because this will wipe your phone

    2. You will lose the last 13 months of Android Security updates.

    3. You will lose all the OnePlus system optimisations, new features and bugfixes introduced in the last 13 months.

    4. You will not be eligible to receive Android 11 OTA when it is released unless you manually flash at least 2 updates.

    Thank You

    Hello there,
If you have problems with android 10, you should inform them to oneplus using the bug report platform so it can be fixed (you have submitted 0 bug reports so far)
Downgrading will let you with old security updates and other kinds of problems.
I have a oneplus 6t with the last stable update and I dont have any of those issues, so maybe the problem is not with the update but with the apps that you use that are poor developed and causing you those issues.

It might be a good idea to include those caveats in any future recommendations you make regarding downgrading, in fairness to users so that they fully know what they are letting themselves in for.
