    Hi all,

This did the trick for me:
Settings > Mobile Network Settings > Access Point Names > Open the three dots on the right hand corner > Reset to Default.

I don't know if it will work for everyone, but it seems to work okay for me. I will have my WiFi off for the rest of the day tomorrow and see how it goes.

Possible cause - Once resetting to default, there are A LOT more carriers added to the list.

The real way to fix it is to go into apn setting and delete all the apn's in there and then add a new one with whatever apn your network needs. In my case I deleted all the apn's and then added Rogers LTE (ltemobile.apn) Hope this helps everyone.

Resetting APN does remove and re-add new APN's. Either way, I believe that people have to perform a reset for their network issues to be resolved.

I'm not 100% sure I had lots of network issues on 5.1.1 in general and the only thing that fixed it was the method I described. Resetting APN did nothing and in my case I did not need the 15 preinstalled APN's just needed my Rogers LTE one.

Oh my god you are a life saver.... Been having issues with my Galaxy S4 where it would lose reception every time I put it to sleep, but resetting the APN and rebooting it has fixed it!!! Also I am running CM11 so it must work on previous versions as well.

Who knows maybe its a carrier issue as I found out about this due to the fact that a bunch of people on the same carrier lost data on 5.1.1

So I flashed the zip file through twrp, the deleted all the apns that I didn't need. Then select the the Rogers. LTE, and now my 4g works great! Thanks!
