    The OPO does have a chip, but it was grounded in manufacturing and is therefore useless. The modules are missing as well, but those can easily be rebuild. http://forum.xda-developers.com/app...neplus-one-t2866431/post57409704#post57409704

    Now I wonder why they didn't just connect the chip to the receiver. :/

    Yes. I miss too. Radio is something we'll always miss. I'm a very found of music and specially classic/retro songs (vividh bharti). Even if we have plenty of songs in our storage but if suddenly any of our favorite song comes on air we feel so happy, don't we? However, I use TuneIn online streaming fm(alternatively). It has worldwide fm channels, even regional, 2g plan is enough for streaming.

    i m using cyanogen on my samsung rt now n i there isn't any default radio app so i have downloaded and using a 3rd party radio app called as "Spirit UL".
    So if there is any opo user who would like to use it..?try to download its apk from google coz it might not be available in store

    I too have tried using TuneIn. But, it does not have the regional channels that I was talking about previously. So, thats the main problem....

    Am from chennai. The radio stations are pathetic . Just keep talking and advertisements.

    My transit time to office is 1 hr. All these while I just keep changing the station find a good song so that I can drive happily..meh.. Ads ads ads

    Who needs radio now ??

    But on the plus side you could the money you save getting the phone to get a radio

    I really don't understand the hostility to FM radio can only see plus points for smartphones to have it given the reality of reception outside the cities for tinternet
