That means that this seal around the camera is broken. Definitely get it serviced while it's under warranty, because there is no way to fix that.

That's a shame that phone was not assembled properly. Hope they don't blame you for dropping the phone in water.

That's a marketing material and in no way means that the phone should be used under water. The phone is built with every-day use in mind, meaning that safeguards have been made to protect it from things like rain or small splashes.

Still, the phone is in no way IP certified and from the looks of your back camera, it was exposed to a big amount of water.

looks like your phone is used in rain? if that's the case then warranty is not applicable.. don't believe the gimmick shown by brands test conditions differ from day to day usage..

Water damage happens at various pressure levels. Not sure at what level you have taken. So basically you can't proove anything.

Funnily enough you will find all other manufacturers that IP rate their phones also do not cover water damage regardless of the IP rating.

I had this situation which occurred due to rainfall which has basically nothing to do with the pressure levels

Yeah here is mine... No water exposure outside of maybe rain... But I don't think it's rained when I've been out since I got the op7 pro.

Like someone said above, seems the seal is broken. It has also dried out completely and then will come back randomly when it's hot outside. Been working on my car today in the Texas heat and some massive gecko came skittering by. First Pic looked great but by the 5th one or so it was fogged up in all 3 lenses.

You can only see it on one lens here...

My phone has fogged up while in spain, the water disappears sometimes but it still leaves a small amount of residue. Not too concerned about the back cameras because I can take the back off and clean them up relatively easily. However what am I supposed to do to the front camera
I left it in rice overnight and made little to no difference

It's not just water damage, in my opinion. The build quality of OnePlus phones isn't that premium. I had similar fogging of my lens once when i kept my phone near my car AC vent. My heartbeat skipped for a while, but luckily the fogged lens became normal by its own, after sometime. The camera lens isn't sealed properly in 7 pro devices, i guess.

Yep, this is my assessment as well. I guess this is just what we have to accept as Oneplus build quality. The correct answer here should be to send an advance replacement and 14 days to return the defective device. Sending it to the repair center to be without said device for weeks is a slap in the face.

Trust me when I say, this will all go in to account when buying my next device and in the recommendations I make to countless people both in real life and my social media reach.
