For anyone with problems or especially glitches in the Snapchat app using the new OnePlus 6 I suggest that you change it to fullscreen in the "app display in fullscreen settings".

I recived ny OP6 today. Was happy to get the phone up and runnig, but when I installed Snapchat I realized there was a problem with the front camera. The front camera is zoomed in and almost useless. Need a way to force the right screen ratio on Snapchat asap.

After further investigation its not only snapchat that is doing this. Also Facebook and Instagram is doing the same thing. They are all using 19:9 aspect ratio. We need a way to force the right aspect ratio we want to use in each app.

Hi all, not sure if everyone is facing the same issue as me in snapchat but here it goes; whenever I rotate the phone to take a landscape picture, the camera will just blink and not take the picture. Funny thing is when I try to individually send a snap to someone, it'll take the picture .The display mode is on default but when I change it to full screen everything is in check. Just wanted to know if anyone is facing the same camera issue when display is in default mode. Thanks!!

Unable to click photos in landscape in snapchat.
    Any possible workarounds?

As mentioned at the very top, going into settings, display, and changing the "default" setting to "full screen mode" seemed to fix the problem for me. I am able to take pictures in landscape when full screen mode is on. not sure why default causes problems but changing to full screen will fix the problem!!

Best thing I found out is to use the Google Camera app and make the cameras record and take pictures in 16:9 ratio. Then you can just send them on Snapchat. Problems is you can't use their filters.
