Please I want to force 90HZ all the time. Even the Pixel now has force 90 in developer options. OnePlus definitely needs to provide it's users with customisation in regards to this.

What's the point without the Content?
You will just burn battery power and slow the device down for nothing.
OP's solution is a good one, you get the hype and preserve battery life.

Can you share any tutorials? Which provide step by step instructions. I'm not at sll familiar with adb and modding.

Adb is no modding, just look up "force 90hz oneplus", you'll probably see an xda thread, where there is a step by step instruction.

Yes warp charge charges your phone rapidly but still, forcing 90 Hz will decrease the battery life

I'd recommend using arter97's Auto90 app which allows you to select 60Hz/90Hz/Auto on a per-app basis. This is better than the ADB force-all solution since some rare apps (mainly outdated ones that haven't been updated in many years) may not play nice with 90Hz.

You can leave the OnePlus system setting to either Auto or 90Hz depending on your preference.
