[Forum Announcement] Revamped Support Forums

    Hey everyone,

    We've heard your feedback. In the past, it wasn't always easy to find the thread that answers your question in our support forums. Inside support threads, you may have had to sift through dozens of pages to find the best solution. It's wasn't perfect. Today, we're addressing these concerns with several improvements. At the end of the day, we want to make it easier for you guys to help each other. Here's what's happening:

    Best Answers

    From this point forward, every thread you make in the support forums is automatically marked as "open." This tells the world that you still need some help. Once someone replies with a solution that solves your problem, you can choose this post as the "best answer." This will mark the thread as "solved" and link directly to the best answer. This allows viewers with the same issue to quickly find the best solution.

    Tags and Filters

    When you create a support thread, you can now assign a topic tag:

    When viewing the support forums, you can now filter by topic and/or status to make sorting and navigation easier:

    The goal here is to improve organization and allow threads to be quickly identified by general topic.

    Actually, it would be nice if folks from Oneplus Support actually drop in.

    Many questions remain unanswered because nobody comes there unless they have a problem, and no one is answering.

    Also, a good old FAQ pinned on top might save many people a lot of effort.

    Really guys, it's not that hard, forums have been around for decades, it's easy to find out what works and what doesn't...

    Nice to see more improvements coming. :)

    I hope this will make it easier for users to find the help they need. The best answer feature is pretty cool, because sometimes its hard to find it in the middle of the mess that some threads tend to become. :sweatsmile:

    That's a great improvement. I really hope this will be helpful for members facing issues with their devices, at least the most common ones.

    Naah...they'll just ignore whatever you suggest most of the times.

    Then come back and implement it coz its the logical / sane thing to do ;)

    I hope some of the CS team members will open their accounts and do the assistance as a regular CS team member in the Forum.
