Camera Front Camera Not working / Black screen Sep 20, 2020

    Oneplus 7 pro camera doesn't work
    • it pops up
    • doesn't work in third party app either
    • Tried clearing the cache but still wont work

    I have the same issue, first I had a black screen and nothing happened, now when I switch from rear to front camera the camera app closes itself. To be clear, the front camera does pop up with no problem, it's just not registering anything.

    I tried clearing camera app cache and restarting the phone, nothing works.

    Of course Face unlock doesn't work and sometimes a message appears saying "another app is using the camera".

    got the same issue from last couple of months. now with recent update back camera is also not working. Youtube dies out afer trying to load for some time. message is not working. Lot of issues. Regretting my switch to one plus

    Front cam pops up, but cam doesn't show anything - black screen. Same now with back cam. It's a software problem.

    I have a similar issue but anytime I call the camera function on any app... screen goes black and if it's on the camera app just stays like that. If I call it through some other app like Whattsapp it errors and closes app.

    Also my message app stopped working, it opens and a few seconds later jus bugs out an requests to close. Youtube app also has issues when I open it I dont see any results of videos it just stays there loading the first screen and nothing happens.

    I've raised a ticket with Support but have had no response from the. Anybody getting these issues?? Any way to get around it? I've cleared appe chache's etc I've factory reset and still the same issue.

    Now I have a 800€ papper weight and I'm very unhappy by I brand that I thought so highly of. Oneplus 7 pro will definitely be my last OnePlus phone.

    Got the same issue, with both camera's and a variety of apps not working. Resets, clearing data, safe mode... nothing is working.

    I am facing the same issues. The front cam pops up without any problem, but it is not registering anything. In the camera app once the front cam pops out the blacks out and the app closes on its own. Other apps that use the cam such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and Snapchat are also not supported. I tried clearing the cache, uninstalling apps, and restarting the phones multiple times. Still, nothing works. The phone also does not recognize the face unlock feature too.
