That's all I shoot. In my dSLR, it's set for raw. I prefer to "process" the photos the way I want them, not how some software developer THINKS they should look. What I was talking about is when people discover that HDR mode on some cheap photo editing software and when they get finished it looks like a cartoon. :D

Yeah its over done a lot. If you have dynamic range issues use shadows and highlights. Sometimes though I loved the over processed look of stock HDR.

Maybe a stupid question, but has this been made a "Sticky" yet? (the thread/topic that is..)

TL;DR for now (need some sleep), so will read it later. Thanks a lot TheJames! :)

Yep, done right, it can give a very dramatic look to a photo, old house, mountains, but WOW, some people just really get out of hand with it. In a way, I hated to see film go away. I shot film for over 35 years. Back then, you had to think about what you were doing, since every shot, cost you $$ in film and developing. Now, unless you are serious, no one really thinks about the composition of the photo, lighting etc because it doesn't cost anything to take a photo. It's getting to be a lost art.

    Wow nice tutorial.

I am going to try modded CameraNext and Color Camera.
Does anyone know if they can coexist?
So that I can compare them.

Iv had seven different camera app's on the same device at once. There's no limit. Camera next is actually a fusion of color os and CM features.

I followed all the precious pieces of advice you gave and I have become much better at taking pictures with opo. You mentioned 1080 p 60 fps, but this seems to be a mysterious option on many smartphones: did you mean 60fps not in slow motion?
    Thank you

I do believe its designed to play it back at 60 fps. 1080p+ full sound. I believe, unfortonatly I don't have color os camera to test it on my current rom

I tested the ported colorOS camera and it cannot play 1080p 60fps at normal speed and with sound. Also recent flagship phones fail to exhibit this feature, even though they may declare it in the specifications. Do you know why it is so difficult to have this feature?
    Thank you
