Why is Gaming mode option removed from the notification panel in Android 10 Update? It was extremely useful to hide the pop-up notifications just by turning it on the from the panel.

It is very annoying I have to use game space and turn it on from there which is way worse then before I hope they put it back on the notification bar

I mean. All you have to do is add the game to game space and gaming mode will auto launch with the game from there on. It's hardly an issue

It's not just about the game, it was helpful in hiding the pop-up notifications while using the phone casually.

True. It was really helpful to block pop up notifications even while using the phone casually. I used gaming mode more to block notifications than gaming. :p

Maybe you can use the built-in "Do Not Disturb" mode.
Which you can also customize accordingly to suit your needs.

In Android 10 maybe the rationale of putting games into "Game Space" is so that gaming mode is automatically initiated for games and also for un-cluttering the apps drawer.

For other than games, the "Do Not Disturb" function would be more suited.

Of course, I don't speak on behalf of Oneplus.

To Access 'Do Not Disturb' settings:

    1. Pull down the notification bar.
    2. Long press on 'Do Not Disturb'.

    3. Under "Behavior", tap on "Notifications".

    4. Configure the settings according to your needs.

    Hope this helps.

It's much useful than game space . It allows us to stay focus & without any disturbance while use any kind of apps ( you know if you had used itpit ) . And I have no issue with game space what ever , just put a game mode in notification bar ( Developer).
