    hello !

I wanna know why on the lower part of my screen I perceive the keyboard all the time with a very thin opacity.

I have the impression that it's present all the time but that I see it only on a white background of application ...

do you know why I see that or how to minimize it ?

    I can't screenshot you what I see because it's doesn't appear...

    thanks

I can't see anything in your screenshot so I'm going to assume you're talking about screen burn in. Unfortunately there's not really much that can be done to reverse that once it's happened. But if you turn off key borders on Gboard it should help slow the process of it getting worse at least.

It's probably a screen burn in. You just have left the keyboard on with full brightness sometime.

The file is still attached to your post though.

It won't show up on a screenshot because it's not a software related issue. The problem you described fits perfectly the description of burn in which affects the panel itself. If a specific pattern is displayed on one part of the screen repeatedly more often than another then those pixels wear out faster than the rest of the screen. Until it eventually gets to the point where they're fatigued enough that it shows up as artefacts on the screen in the same pattern of the image that was repeatedly displayed.

You can get a screen replacement of it bothers you that much. That's the only option. Don't use any of the burn in correction apps. They make the screen dull.

Unfortunately yes if burn in has already occurred there's not really much that can be done to reverse it. All you can really do is try lessen the amount of strain you put on that part of the screen and maybe hope the wear will even out a little bit over time. I would suggest using a lower brightness where possible, using a dark colored theme for the Gboard app and removing the key borders so that they don't continue to wear faster than the rest of the background.

Regarding burning, look at that nice one (Samsung phone). The phone is not used anymore and stayed several *months* in the same screen.
With that I can see the IP address on every screen..

Well, time doesn't exist anymore also.
Even the clock display is burned!
Poor phone has been plugged in for the last months and cores kept at their max frequency. Nice little Linux server.

This thread is about screen burn-in. If you aren't talking about that, you are off topic.
