Neoharys , via OnePlus 8 , Jun 8, 2021 : The game suddenly freezes and not just the game the whole phone freezes and stays like that for few minutes, before android 11 the game used to work fine. I can't downgrade cause I have alot of important data and I don't have a laptop to back it up. Oneplus 8 has SD 865 and really high end specs, I used to play on max settings but now it even struggles on lowest. Any help or advice will do as I've really worked hard on that gaming account.
pablofg1978 , Jun 8, 2021 : Contact the game developer, maybe the game is not ready to work on Android 11
Neoharys , via OnePlus 8 , Jun 8, 2021 : On other devices with Android 11 and much lower specs it works fine, my friend's years old iphone 8+ runs the game on max settings without much downsides
pablofg1978 , Jun 8, 2021 : Ios and Android are two different systems. I suggest you again to contact the game developer
Tomás Gonçalves , via OnePlus 8 , Jun 13, 2021 : It's definitely something you did to your phone or perhaps a faulty unit. Have you done any modifications to the software or rooted the device? I have a stock OP8 and Genshin Impact has always behaved beautifully even on medium to high graphics settings and with 60FPS enabled aside a couple stutters while loading parts of the world which are barely noticeable anyway and seem to happen with any device (probably bad game optimization).
Neoharys , via OnePlus 8 , Jun 15, 2021 : The issue was kinda resolved after the recent update, the game always worked really good on my phone even on maxed graphics. It's just randomly the game starts to lag and phone freezes entirely, this happens regardless of the graphic settings. The update fixed it or lowered the probability.
Tomás Gonçalves , via OnePlus 8 , Jun 15, 2021 : Hopefully it fixes it then. Though it's weird I've never had that happen to me. 🤔
Neoharys , via OnePlus 8 , Jun 18, 2021 : It happened again today, the whole game along with the phone gets frozen and bricked for dewy minutes. It's even happening although on a lesser scale with COD mobile, I hope they give me some solution.
Tomás Gonçalves , via OnePlus 8 , Jun 18, 2021 : Try factory reset. If that doesn't work I'd get it serviced, something's not right.
Neoharys , via OnePlus 8 , Jun 20, 2021 : I'll have to try, it's my last resort hoping to get some help from oneplus till then.
