Hey guys, in your opinions, which one is the best flat offer in Germany right now??

    p.s. please specify:
    - the operator (also virtual operators, if you use or know any)
    - total cost per month
    - how many sms per month (versus every operator or only few selected operators like vodafone, O2 etc...??)
    - how many minutes per month (versus every operator (fixed or mobile phone) or only few selected operators??)
    - how many MB/GB per month, any limitiation for the voip apps (like blocking skype, viber and stuff)

I'm thinking of getting the offer from GMX:
    ALL-NET & SURF GIGA PLUS
    - total cost per month: 12,99€
    - how many sms per month: 300 or!
    - how many minutes per month: 300
    - how many MB/GB per month: 2000MB up to 21,6 MBit/s and after that with 64kbps (no limit)
any limitiation for the voip apps:no limit

    Network: Vodaphone

Sadly no LTE offered - but at least with D2 a much better net-operator than O2

But its in german, probably u can translate it or somebody will help u.

Overall i prefer Vodafone, because they offer the most for the money u've to pay, but thats my opinion.
There are internet flats, with 3GB LTE Datavolume and without free minutes and free sms for 3,75€ per month.
Or 1,5 GB LTE Datavolume and complete Minute/SMS Flat for 10-15€ per month.

@DGWumpscuT on eteleon smart 200 is like 4,95€
those offers are all for prepaid cards or you have to link your bank account to the sim account?
the minutes are versus all nets right??

@Remox thanks, unfortunately there is only 4 big operators and no virtual operators, but it's helpfull too, I've seen a few interesting offers too. Do you know any other website which compares also virtual operators?

@Horqai what you need LTE for, work?? imo 21,6 MBit/s is pretty good. My mobile internet speed is 5 MBit/s and I can surf and skype perfectly with it.

@Chris05 1&1 have expensive plans, it starts from 9,99€ for 250MB only for 12 months and then 14,99€ and I don't know if the phone is included or not link

    @kisman because I don't know German ;)

@NeverSettle which offer you are refering to? I found only this and this, which seems semilar to what you wrote. Is it for prepaid card?

@BeneTTon my phone doesn't have LTE, and I don't need that much speed, for me 1GB with 5MB/s is enough and like 200min versus all phone net (mobile and landline). Something similar to whart I have now, 200 min versus all net (mobile + landline), 200 sms versus every mobile operator, 1GB, no voip blocking system and only 4€ per month, and if my balance is 0€ for 3 months, the offer is deactivated automatically.

OT: I'm not American, just an Italian dude who is moving to Germany ;)
Your username, is the Italian Basketball team??

@Wasbinich Yeah, Surf Giga seem very interesting, it's for prepaid cards or I have to link my bank account too?
Do you know how to become a GMX premium user (to get the 30€ bonus)??
To get a new sim and activate Surf Giga I have to apply online or I can just go to any vodafone shop??

Anyone know what is D-Netz?? Roaming??
I thought you guys in Germany have much cheaper flat offers, but it's practically the same as Italian operators... I hope the EU decides to remove the stupid roaming cost in europe asap.

    Hi,
no my example was a 2 year contract with cash instead of phone. Mathematically it is roughly 9€ a month.
I bought it mainly because of full flat (landline and mobile). 500mb is a bit too less, but ok for me because of the price.

Long story short: there is E-Netz and D-Netz in Germany. These are different networks which are used by the operators.
Usually D-Netz (Telekom and Vodafone D2) is the better one, but the connection depends on where do you live etc. Its not that much of a difference anymore.

Yes, its not cheap comparing to other countries. Especially UK offers great contracts, but here LTE is still expensive.

    Hello dumpix,

The 2 offers have a contract period of 24 month.
You have to pay every month if you want a GMX premium account.
The offer is in my opinion only online available.

    Grüße

Thanks, so when they mean "alle netz" they mean including E, D netz and also landline or only their own netz (like D-netz for telekom)??

@Wasbinich thanks, I will try to contact GMX to get more infos, I hope there is a way to get it also offline.
From what I saw, every offer in Germany has the contract of 24 months. If I sign the contract and after 4-5 months i throw away the sim or move to another operator or have 0 balance in the sim, what will happen?? I will have to pay the full cost for 24 months?

Ive found a new contract for my girlfriend from vodafone.
    1 GB Data/50 sms/50 minutes.
    http://www.logitel.de/samsung-galaxy-s4-mini-s5-mini-im-mobilcom-smart-surf?refid=220895

You get the s5 mini for 79€, and you have to pay 10€ per month and 79€ at the beginning.
Sum up: 24x10€+79€=319€ for the contract and the s5 mini. I think its a good deal.

"All Net Flat" means you can make calls/sms in every "net" e.g. from ure provider to eplus/o2/T-mobile/vodafone
