    For those not familiar with OnePlus "Launch Days" as of late...They pick various cities (usually NYC in the US) around the world for Launch Day parties....folks stand in line ALL NIGHT in some cases to be able to score the exclusive BUNDLE. And only so many folks in that line are able to get one.

    Thanks to the PANDEMIC... they did so virtually this time...which means instead of a "line" in one city....they had that line all over the US....so OF COURSE the bundles sold out in minutes/seconds. DUH.

    I see you did priority shipping, I did standard and it says it will arrive on the 24th. If I remember correctly there is generally not a difference between priority and standard on launch day except for the price, I could be wrong.

    Hey Jerry, Everyone complaining had a device IN CART when they disappeared. OP 's own FAQ indicates they stay their for 3 hours before expiring. So, just wanted you to know what you can do.

    My frustration is I ultimately got one that came back into stock but I did not get the headphones that were supposed to be in the bundle. Customer service has told me they sold out.

    So you had more phones then you did headphones? What the?

    I tried to order it at 11:10am and couldn't get through.....so friggin pissed! I think I'll just get the Pixel 4 XL for $799, but I would've preferred the 8 Pro with the bundle :-(

    this isn't my first OnePlus "limited batch" rodeo. You'll note the times on my receipt. Dumb luck had nothing to do with it. Setting my alarm and speeding thru the process did.

    I was lucky enough to get the bundle. I had tmobile site open just in case they had something to offer also. My only question is , can i just put my sim from my 6t into the 8 pro.

    Dumb luck was 100% of it. Just because you didn't experience any issues doesn't mean they didn't exist. Get off your high and mighty horse.

    I clicked add to cart literally the second the counter finished, my cousin sitting next to me did the exact same within maybe 1 to 2 seconds of me. I clicked through and got my order in, he got to the confirm part of the cart and suddenly he gets an out of stock error while maybe 3 seconds earlier I was clicking pay. We both had existing oneplus accounts and were signed in and had valid addresses. This also isn't our first time buying from oneplus.

    So mine went through and his didn't. He wasn't 5 minutes late or 1 minute, or even 30 seconds behind me. So as much as you think you know everything since you've bought a phone before, rest assured you are wrong and luck had everything to do with it.

    Try not to be so conceded, it's not a good look.

    hmmm who knew programming code had "luck" involved. I know (a) don't use PayPal, it takes too long (b) when it comes to "carts" and checking out...it is first come, first served with OnePlus as they don't lock in the order AT ALL when it is in your cart. it's literally a game on how fast you can check out. "Lottery" wasn't involved at all. (c) the MAJORITY of the post involve folks complaining about QUANTITY, as if this was a typical "online launch" and it wasn't. If I had a dollar for every post that read "Now I'm gonna buy a Samsung or Pixel" cuz OnePlus is unfare, I'd be able to buy another case. (d) you could become rich with this "luck" programming code.

    The "luck" involved has everything to do with server ping and latency. I literally clicked the order button the SECOND it was active and it returned as out of stock by the time it was in my cart. It was returning out of stock less than 3 seconds after it went live.

    It went back "In Stock" like an hour later, and I managed to place the order then, but the bundle was not working and had to be removed to fulfill the order. The website indicated a limit launch of phones, but advertised the bundle as a Launch Day bundle. Customers that managed to order the phone should have ALL received the bundle, but they couldn't even manage that and their Customer Service refused to honor the promotion. Call it Bait & Switch. Call it false advertising. Call it whatever you want... I cancelled my order because their Customer Service was so abysmal. They literally would rather cancel a $1300 order rather than honor a promotion with $120 worth of accessories(which I am sure cost them a lot less than $120 to manufacture). I'm sure their profit margin on the phone and warranty plan that I bought were a lot more than the cost of the accessories. Spending dollars to save dimes. If they want to charge Flagship Prices, then they need to have Flagship Customer Service. They don't.

    I'm just saying that hypothetically if I had a screenshot of a customer service rep that said they would honor the free gift even though it's not on my confirmation and they later back out of that statement... What would you do? Hypothetically speaking of course.
