so... how about google services and apps? Is Plex, Spotify, Strava, SmartLife and other apps compatible with your OS? what is the point of an OS that does not have those apps (and more) if they are not available?

Would it have increased costs (having performance and battery life aside) to go with Android Wear OS instead of developing your custom one?

WELL... I don't wanna turn your expectations down but... didn't "The Lab op9 series" say "devices" in plural?

That's on them... this is one of the main features lacking in the smartwatches.

it is not. Google Home and Smart Life can be used from Android Wear.

But it's not "on them" they cannot gain control out of the blue to third party apps to control smart-things ... that would be crazy. I create an app, and oh look I disable "simply safe" security system because "it's on me".

No. apps have to "expose" those toggles to the OS and other services. And I'm pretty sure that since this smartwatch is going to have it's own OS and not Android you can kiss goodbye to actually running many things you would be able while using Android Wear

    That's great!
Finally OnePlus is releasing a watch, to define the terms, "soon" and "shortly" 😜

No Wear OS means yet another ecosystem with little or no app support... Developers don't get excited when they have to make apps working for a dozen operating systems. I was excited, but hearing it has no Wear OS makes me look out for other smartwatches. Pity!

Yeah, I think Pete is also participating in the same and gave his wild guess as Watch. He still doesn't know it's a Horse saddle seat 😂
