I went to edit a photo using the camera app. When I click save you first see this --

    2019-07-23 12_52_51-Photo - Google Photos.jpg

    Then this --

    2019-07-23 12_53_03-Photo - Google Photos.jpg

Is THAT supposed to be there?

    Nope, should not happen.
Did you use stock OnePlus camera app?
Also editing on Camera app is a bit confusing, shouldn't the phone switch to a default/selected Gallery/photo Editing application.

I believe it's stock... since I haven't installed any other camera app. Running Malwarebytes now.

UPDATE -- Oh! It's Fotor. Cause when you're done editing it said, "Rate this app" and I'm like, okay cool, thanks for telling me who's doing this!

I uninstalled Fotor to make sure it was the culprit. Sure enough, when I took a new pic it asked, "Edit with?". I just wanted to make sure adware hadn't snuck on the phone.
