    Hello All,

From past 3 months I am not able to get the Gmail Notifications on my One Plus 6T device. The issue started from Oxygen version 11.1.1.1 and it was informed that it would get fixed in next version i.e. 11.1.2.2..Last week I had upgraded to 11.1.2.2 but still the issue is not resolved
Performed all the troubleshooting but all in vain

Can anyone help me on this issue

    Thanks & Regards

Sending bug reports are not helping it seems, we already do that on first android 11 build, OnePlus doesn't care

You also have the option of contacting OnePlus support directly. As we are all users here, not much else we can do until OnePlus address the issue.

What issue, Gmail, an issue I don't experience, however you do seem to have an issue. Hence why you can contact support directly, again who knows what other app, settings or anything else that is causing the problem. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Even after a full wipe, clean install, it's occurs , its OnePlus... Do the same on Android 10, same settings, then no issue

Again, an issue to be discussed with OnePlus directly 👍

I know it's not gonna change much, but i'm also having the issue with Gmail notifications (oxygenOs 11.1.1.1). OxygensOS really became garbage OS IMO, harware still good though

This was the same reply I have received when my OS version was 11.1.1.1 and told it would be fixed in 11.1.2.2..
Why don't the customers get what is fixed in each update... Support is worst
I don't see this issue gets fixed in near future..For now the workaround is go to the app and see the emails..
    😭😭😭

And us users are limited in what we can suggest. Hence why it's imoritant to inform OnePlus directly. We have no influence over the OP developers or management. It's entirely OnePlus decision how they fix or update their OOS. But Google also has a part to play, as the issue you have has been seen in other manufacturers phones as well. A quick search will show this fact.

So you agree that we have to search Google and fix the issues ourselves as we are not going to get any help from support...Is there any ETA when the fix would get fixed in OP...
Also don't compare with other manufacturers...This indicates that issue exists in other manufacturers so let's OP also leave it and customers would suffer as everyone is having issue... Instead try to fix the issues

    That's not what I said.

If you reread my post, I stated that "Google had it's part to play" as its their issue as well. As the Gmail notification issue happens on many other manufacturers phones as well. So effectively there is a fundamental issue with the Gmail app as well as OnePlus having to investigate it from their end.
