I updated my OPO to 05Q the very first day it became available. After update everything was fine for couple of days except for faster battery drain. I was expecting it to settle after couple of days and battery backup will stabilize.
I tried wiping cache, factory reset and delete data. Nothing worked battery drain was still there.
After using it for couple of more days few other issues started to show up.
GPS was not working well.
Proximity sensor was not working while calling (restart was needed to fix it).
So I decided to roll back to 44S, which was working fine.
There are many threads on xda and this forum explaining the process to flash fast boot image to OPO. But I was looking for something easier then using fast boot etc.
After searching a lot, I decided to use signed zip files of CM11S (which was last made avialable for 33R).
This is how I went back to 44S.
Flashed "cm-11.0-XNPH33R-bacon-signed.zip" using stock recovery.
Wipe cache reboot.
Flashed 33 - 38 OTA using recovery.
Wipe cache reboot.
Flashed 38 - 44 OTA using recovery.
Wipe cache reboot.
Voila, back to 44S. Using it for more than a week now, everything is working fine.
NO ROOT, NO OTHER RECOVERY, NO BOOT LOADER UNLOCK.
Your stock OPO will work just fine. (Stock recovery, locked boot loader and un rooted)
