hotest, May 20, 2019 : After having every single one of models from OnePlus this is the end of the journey for me with this brand! My phone (6T) start acting recently weirdly and then stopped working completely followed by battery expansion. I have send the phone for repair and they came back to me that phone was damaged by the liquid and it's not covered by the warranty ! I want to add that phone was never in touch with water at least not with large amount of it. Problems started while I was on holidays in the weather with 96% humidity and some rain where phone was used as normal to make a call and check emails. It was never anywhere near to the water which would be able to cover the phone for few seconds. Phone, screen and everything for first few days of issues was operational - it was just restarting itself randomly. I have decided to wipe it as instructed by OnePlus forums and there was no improvement. After day or two I start seeing problems with battery charging and finally after a week battery expanded ending up with pushing back the back cover! Support sent me pictures of the labels marked in red, funny because before I sent it ( since phone back was already out ) I have check them and they were white. I'm amazed how OnePlus is trying to charge £450 for phone repair while new phone is nearly the same price. I'm lucky enough not to be bothered by lost of the money which I have invested in this company but from principles point of view I, not none of my friends which I have introduced to this brand will ever buy anything from it. Well done with treating us like idiots!
