Google App Crash Hotfix

    Oxymarvin , Mar 23, 2021 :

I don't use it myself but seems to be a neat Oxygen feature where a "cloned" app space allows you to sign into certain apps with multiple accounts simultaneously without needing to log out each time.

Not a dev but the Link to this issue seems to be Google apps trying to launch under the (default?) internal parallel app user ID (999) which creates a internal security exception error and causes the crashes.

Been reading a lot about this since yesterday and it's not clear from forums if Google ever fixed this or who should ultimately be responsible. Presumably the affected app developers not OnePlus? Seems to have affected older OP models in 2020 and most probably just eventually upgraded to newer versions of Android.

Hi. I cannot run somme applications : Yahoo, Bank and Eurosport. I have to uninstall the app, then reinstall and it works for one time only.
    Please Can Someone help ?

    Hi Nikolas

Have you tried just reinstalling or just syncing the latest update for Android System Webview from the Google play store? + rebooting your phone.

There's a lot of new threads for that in the last 24h. To be fair it does sound exactly like this issue from 2020 but actually is something completely different and nothing to do with the hotfix described by OP
