    Absolutely nothing. Google unloaded Motorola to move away from the handset business and placate their OEMs. They won't be trying to get back into it anytime soon.

    I don't want to discredit Oneplus or anything (I love tou guys!) but from a corporate point of view, Oneplus didn't prove anything so far. That would be pointless on Google's part.

    If a company like Motorola did nothing for google then why would a tiny start up company that can only put out 150 phones in a month be of any interest to them. Google wants to make money and not waste it. Buying opo would be a poor decision. Plus Google kept a lot of moto patents and I think they kept their special projects division. Opo has none of that to offer.
