I have spoken to google and apparently this is not an app issue. Ever since updating my Oneplus 7 Pro to 10.3.5 I cannot hold and drag calendar events and it's driving me insane. I use this simple feature a ton. Please help!

I'm able to do it just fine, mind giving more info on what you're trying to accomplish and how?

I am attempting to hold down for ~1 or 2 sec on an event and simply change the time at which it starts and ends. Simple. Doesn't work. Oneplus is on 10.3.5. Google app is up to date.

Okay, and... which view do you have it on? And maybe it'd be easier to manually edit the time rather than trying to move it?

    Doesn't work on 1 3 or 5 day view.
Dragging is much easier than manually opening event. That's what I'm trying to avoid. I understand I can do this but it's sluggish

Weird, it works perfectly for me. Then again, I'm not on 10.3.5 (yet) so my mileage may vary. Then again, I highly doubt a version change can affect how a second-party app works.

I'm having this issue as well. I'm on OnePlus 8 running Android 11 (Oxygen OS 11.IN21AA).
Holding for a couple seconds doesn't make the event draggable. I know this feature works on OnePlus3T (Android 8).

    Are you both using the widget? o_O;

You can't edit events in the widget, you have to do them in the app itself.

In the widget or the app?

    No...
However, I noticed that this issue is caused from having my Call Recorder turned on in Accessibility. Turning it off made the hold&drag start working, of course now my call recorder doesn't work, and that won't do.
There's no reason that google cal's hold&drag shouldn't work because of a call recorder..

    That's really strange..!

Since Call Recording isn't allowed here, it's not activated on my phone. So unfortunally, this doesn't fix my problem with hold and drag..

    Thanks for sharing anyway!

Not working anymore for me as well. No widget, no call recording (not allowed here).
Don't know what happened, I thought it was a problem if Google calendar, but googling for the issue led to this page and I'm now baffled..

Solved automatically. I was doing work on Google task(Task app) and also adding/removing task in Calendar app.
