The links are working for me. The Gcam download is a direct link.
Try to use a different browser.

    Sorry, I can't answer it. I only own a OnePlus 6.

The non-root version is from March 2018. It's an older version, so there may be some changes from Google that improved the images.

I found 6/6T compatible versions running on 5T too, is it because of the Project Treble?

And can anyone please suggest the best version of gcam port for portrait and nigh sight ( they can be two different versions).

    Currently I'm testing -

    1. Pixel3Mod_1.3_build.6.1.021
    (Majorly for the night sight)

    2. Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-v7Beta-Test-9
    (Majorly for the Portrait Mode)

It's about optimizing for a specific device. In the beginning the app needs to run on the device and then that the modes are running as good as possible.

So an app that is primarly ported for the OnePlus 6 line is working on the 5T. It could be that some modes working fine but others are crashing instantly or cause some tinting.

You can try every version on your device even it's not recommend but then please don't post version XY is crashing instantly or there is some strange tinting.

The recommend version is working on the device. Some function may not work because OnePlus inplemented something not correctly (Slow Motion) or it's running even on a Pixel not correctly (full resolution in Top Shot). But the most most modes are working fine.

Google Camera Port doesn't need Android Pie. All Versions are running on Android 8.1 Oreo too.

    @script

I'm able to read still, but I ask about a suggestion by user experience and not by spec post made more than one month ago,
also if it has been update recently.

    - Do you test all GCam version on OP6T with Oos 9.0.7?

    - Do you test all the GCam options available by yourself?

    - Is it really better the "Night Mode" in the previous GCam version?

I'm free to asking respecting the nétiquette and the forum rules and I'm not pretending any answer. But replying just to pop up a profile score I do not think is a good and positive attitude.

Cheers and have a nice one.

Yes the posts are not updated that much.

Also I'm not testing all versions based on image quality. So I can't say version XY is the best. I also shoot some photos in my freetime with my OP6 or my DSLR but I don't need to analyze the photos.
I know how the camera works and how the parameters depend on eachother but I don't know how to decide which picture is technically better. If the picture looks good then the picture is good.

I test the versions that I recommend on my OnePlus 6 on my current OS version. Mostly it's the newest Open Beta. The test is that the version is running without crashing but that be already done by the developer.
All other devices are not tested by me. Because of that I hope the users that use the Gcam and report some issue to post it in this thread. Then I can correct the posts.

To answer your questions in short
    - I can't test the version on the OP6T
    - I don't test all options on my OP6
    - I can't say if the version XY is really better. The statement came from the dev
