don't you think that in OP 7T, the Gcam version 6.1 takes more defined pictures than the latest version 7.2?

Stopped using these GCam ports, because OP 7T own camera is good enough and everything works

Most of the times I use the OnePlus Camera too. The pictures are good enough and the OP Camera is more convenient. I can use it while the phone is locked and it's stable.

When it's dark I often use the GCam's Night Sight. Sometimes when zooming is needed I try GCam for Super Res Zoom.

I try to update the thread in the next days.

But with the newest CGam app you have to root your phone. Because wide lens and 0.6 zoom options doesn't work without that

I added a new version for OnePlus 6 and 7 devices.

It's this version, but Motion Photo does not work/exist on my OnePlus 6. Is it different on the 7 Series?

So the wide angle and tele lens works in OnePlus phones (with root)? Is directly working with root enabled or is other change like a lib needed?

I created an idea on the IDEA contest about the GCam. It's more about the camera implementation that helps GCam. So that should hopefully fix the resolution problem and fix the wide angle and tele lens.
Feel free to support it, if you like the Google Camera:

With 7.3, 7.2 white balance at night with light is completely off, Google AW on or of , it looks like it it uses Al the time wrong information from sensor.
I have to test earlier releases but on Samsung S10 Plus same result unless you turn of using senor then it is spot on otherwise it is way to white. The original Cam software on 7t pro has same issue BUT you can trick it a bit, and then it is almost spot on. Issue you never don't know when you need to shoot. Anyway found gcam with SD S10 plus even passes iphone. All lenses are working. So Gcam big bug on 7t pro. White balance completely off.

Yes, you have to install the magisk module to get that working.

Why just not giving access to all lenses like Samsung, OnePlus?????. Rooting and I stalling modules from unknown sources, well at least not Google and OnePlus does it not make more stable and secure. Really missed change.

The wide lens preserves the white balance almost perfect with artificial light also better with daylight. It does not fluctuate all around as main camera. This is with OnePlus cam software. 10.0.7

Do you have any other GCam version installed? Uninstall it.
The package installer probably said: Do you want to update the app?

OnePlus need to open their property api so full access for any cam software that implements the correct routines is fully compatible with Android api can use all lenses and features. The current situation is going on now for years and nothing happens. With my s10 plus snapdragon I can use all lenses and the shots are better then pixel camera. Also 4k recording perfect. Do not understand, open source closed doors.... currently...😄😄☠️🙈🙉🙊
