Working Google chrome hangs and does not scroll Sep 16, 2019

    after few tabs Google chrome just hangs and does not scroll up or down ..
    I can still go back and type search but I can't scroll..

    rebooting phone gets it working again

    is it particular sites, or just when you get to a certain number of tabs?

    Same issue here 7T. Chrome just suddenly hangs. Pressing home button and then go back to chrome makes it working again.. Also experience some ghost homebutton, usually when typing.

    Having the same issue here!! Oneplus 7T OxygenOS latest version, Chrome always hang and cannot browse. Have to press home then open Chrome again.

    Same issue here.

    Google Chrome often freezes in guardian.co.uk news article pages, page scrolling stops working. It unfreezes after about 10 seconds or more.

    I have the same experience on my oneplus 7t. Chrome freezes at times, I have even has Netflix freeze once. Going to the home screen and reentering chrome helps sometimes, if this does not help, I am having to close the app.

    Any solution?

    Same here on 7T pro. Different sites every time, I get it working again by just switching apps and going back to chrome. Very annoying.

    for those with Chrome issues, can you report that via the bug report feature in the OnePlus Community app (tap the red + button and select Feedback, then choose bug report). You can also use the Feedback link on the website (https://forums.oneplus.com/feedback/)The bughunters can gather logs and info and pass for investigation.

    Happens quite a bit to me as well, chrome stops responding scroll and back doesnt work. Frequently happens when viewing Instagram stories in web.

    experiencing the same issue with chrome freezing occasionally when browsing - temporary workaround: toggle app switching and go straight back into chrome works for me. Please fix!
    I'm on OP7T with latest oxygen os

    Same issue here on the 7T with latest updates. Hopefully will get solved soon or might switch to another browser. Wonder if it's OnePlus specific or a Chrome issue. Haven't had it in other apps though. No issues on my old 5T as well.
