    Hi,

Bought my Nord 2 on the first sale. Everything is working fine however the Google Duo app in between video call keeps crashing. Tried WhatsApp video call as well. Same results. However the duo crash is much more persistent. Happens all the time between important calls. Tried all trouble shooting like restarting, reinstalling, cache clear and all, nothing changed. Any work around?

I just bought my Nord 2, and I have the same issue. I can start a call with Duo, but about 30s into the call Duo will freeze up and crash. I have not found any solutions to this. Things I found and have tried:
    • Install all updates
    • Buggy system webview (updated or removed update, I can't uninstall it)
None of these have worked, but it seems the problem is exclusive to Duo but it works no problem on my OnePlus 5t (which I want to replace with the Nord 2) and they are on the same version of Duo. The difference is the version of OxygenOS: 10.0.1 on the 5t and 11.3 on the Nord 2.

Looking through Logcat, it seems Duo is trying to request details about a camera that does not exist:

I am unsure if this is the cause of the crash, but it is the only stacktrace I can find in Logcat.

I really appreciate how you've taken the time out to try and locate the source. This is a long standing problem now, and I've even submitted logs with no effect. I really hope the Dev's check this out. Apps like Messenger and WhatsApp, while they don't freeze like Duo, they do randomly shut off the front camera for no reason. It's definitely a software end issue.

Same issue here. Performed factory reset, still happening. Duo effectively unusable.
