hi, I have a OnePlus 5. I have just read Google has released RCS support for UK. I'm on 3 network and it says the enhanced chat features aren't available on my device. I'm thinking of getting a OnePlus 7 and wondering if anyone is on the same network in the UK and it works on that device?

    thanks for any help.

I'm using the 7 Pro on O2 UK and and it says "chat features not available for this device" from what I read RCS should be available on all UK networks

Edit: I just checked on my Pixel 2XL and that says the same thing so maybe it hasn't be rolled out fully as I can't see Google not supporting their own devices

I am using a Samsung s8 plus and I'm having the same issues. The update rolled out overnight and I was able to select chat options but then it came back a few mins later with the device not compatible. Its defo not a network issue as its affecting all networks by the look of it

it says my device, OnePlus 5, doesn't support it. so is it a feature that's just been made available from 6 onward? my brother has a pixel 3 and he says it isn't there for him.

Vodafone in the UK support it. However, Google is taking the operators out of the equation and rolling it into the Google Messages app from this month so it wont matter which network you are on.

I'm in the US on a 7 Pro and it says the same thing for me. Google must not have it up and running yet.
