Can you clear the cache of Google play services, restart the phone and check again?

Well well well, so I have done nothing since I commented that my OP8 was not working properly with G-Pay. Just tried to pay and it works, yay

So I've followed instructions passed from my feedback which is pretty much what's been said in this thread and although certified in still getting the 'Not Setup' message.

But it's still clearly not working at the moment.
I don't know how much more clearing cache/data and rebooting is going to do. Although it says doesn't meet security requirements my device is certified now too said:

For those who do not work GPay, uninstall google play updates, google pay updates, then clear the memory of google play google pay google services framework and google play services. Restart the phone and wait a moment for the store to download all the required files. The google pay certificate will be returned and you can pay. Only this way worked for me.

What network are you on? I'm on O2. Just wondering if there's any correlation to network providers.

I've sent feedback to Google to see if they can provide any insight and sent screenshots too. Ultimately this is down to OnePlus, however any angle I can try and get some resolve to this I will try

Success: Deleting the Google play services application data/memory contents seems to have solved the issue for me just now… had to add the card again, but now it's configured. (actually I also did that to Google pay data first but that didn't clear the issue)

Try to clear the storage data ( cache and data both) of Google Play Store and Google Play services app and reboot your phone once and then see.

Did anyone manage to solve the Google Pay problem without having to delete their Google account from their device and without having to re-add cards to Google Pay? If yes, can you please share what you did?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't think there's any work around like that currently. I don't think anyone has deleted their Google account either in all honesty.
