GPS ISSUE

I am using 10.3.0GM21AA. I was not having these issues until mid December. I have tried all the recommendations listed above. I almost want to request a rollback of software. I would not say that it is fixed. This is an especially serious issue for anyone that bought this phone for AR/GPS based games. It went from fantastic to almost unusable.

The update works fine! I never had the GPS issue but it did fix an Android Auto issue I had when in 5G (basically the Google assistant would either say the connection isn't good enough or she wouldn't dictate when talking)

If you haven't gotten it yet, it will come. They do staged updates. Not everyone gets it at the same time.

Edit: didn't read the entire thread 🤦‍♂️

if you have the OnePlus 70 pro 5G McLaren you are on T-Mobile. and T-Mobile did release an update yesterday that is supposed to fix the GPS issue and hopefully battery drain issue. when you do the update before you go to bed I would do a chassis partition wipe and then do a full charge and see how it's doing. I have them the update and GPS is fixed another thing you need to do though is in Google maps you need to calibrate the compass you do this by clicking on the blue. and doing calibrate on the bottom left of the screen. that seems to have fixed my GPS issue even on 5G.

Fixed my GPS issue. Google maps gets a lock quick. Waze is a little slower however it works now! So I'm happy. I just wish they would have been a little more forthcoming with acknowledging their was an issue and that they were working on a fix.

I need to find the update for Non TMobile users I think the from the factory one plus 7 pro uses different build numbers. Either way GPS is pretty much unusable. it's accurate within about 1/2 a KM which is pretty close to useless. I am thinking of putting up a YouTube video if I don't get any traction.

Samsung has GPS issues too. In particular the Note 10+ 5G. Be patient and wait for an update for the bug 🙄

I get it, I work in the film industry and I use my GPS everyday we are on location. It's gotta be an Android 10 issue. Did you update to Android 10? Did you have the issue on Android 9? The GPS issue is not effecting everyone. I was not effected by the issue on McLaren like others were. Do you have the proper APN settings? There are a lot of things to trouble shoot.

we'll never had issue with Android 9 nor 10 in Samsung after the update . it's just the oxygen OS . check in the community many have raised this issue . I thought since it was a new phone it will be fixed soon but I was wrong .

But it's not an Oxygen OS thing because like I said the Note 10+ 5G is having the same GPS issue on Android 10 and no fix is ready for that either, because it's Samsung and they take forever for updates.

Finally got this fixed. I had to do a hard reset on the phone. lost all of my preferences but at least it works now. I did the tech support chat to work through the solution. My suggestion is going to the tech support chat.

I did not have to do a factory data reset to get the GPS to work then update fixed my GPS issues. I may be going to factory reset just to hopefully get the battery to be better.

the update did fix my GPS issues I am no longer have any GPS issues. but still getting about the same amount of battery. better blame you better battery life after the factory you said that I did I need a good 17 hours with about three and a half hours of screen on time. they probably will be working on updates and we should be getting one in mid this month.

also what other issues were you having because all my issues of the fix when it comes to software like I said nothing I'm having issues with this with battery which is they can fix. with updates.
