The proof is that almost every single 8 Pro has these screen issues. Yes, they are characteristic of OLED panels but they're worse on the 8 Pro than on the Pixel 4 XL, Samsung Galaxy S20, etc. so there must be a lower-quality screen

I returned my OnePlus 8 Pro today!
I believe the display problem is there on every device!
The sad part is that OnePlus hasn't even come out with a proper statement! They are literally trying to fool people!
Trust me the camera bar issue and image retention is an issue with every unit.

I've just finished reading this whole thread and as many other users already said I think many of the issues we found out are HW problems. I bought a OP8 (non Pro, on April 15th and received on April 22nd) and asked for a replacement (still waiting), too many display problems for me and one more that no one, as I've seen, has talked about:

I always trusted OP, and still trusting them, but I don't think we are going to have the display perfection we wanted and I'm not getting this since all the previous OP devices, and other brands' too, never had problems such these. Was I just lucky or is something happening around (see S20, Pixel 4, etc.)?

Anyway, I have no words for this. How on earth is this answer acceptable?
I'm in general pretty disappointed, let's wait and see what is going to happen, but remember that, despite what many people said, frequent doesn't mean normal.

I have been thinking about going with a Galaxy S20+ because it isn’t having many issues but I just keep coming back to the 8 Pro. I really want everything to work out because it’s an awesome phone. I had mine for two days and had to send it back because of screen issues. Still waiting for the refund

As one of the MOST PISSED OFF OP fan i can say that after last update i dont have any black crush issues whatsoever. As far as my amateur eye see it has been fixed (for me atleast). I was just about to return the phone.

I bought the Phone during the pre-order period and don't have those kind of greenish stuff. Maybe just a bit, almost unnoticiable, but your case it's just extreme... When did you get the Phone? What's the date It comes at your box?

    Hello guys,

One Plus just confirm me that the issues are due to the software and not the hardware. Update will be deployed in the next few days.

To me the opposite happened: No issues before 10.5.6 but afterwards green tint and funny colorshifting on low brightness and blacks crushing.
