There are some user having a issue with oneplus 7t display. A green tint(some have pink) at top portion of the display can be seen when brightness is between 10-40%.
Today i visited service center regarding this and they say this may be normal and they don't see it. Fun part is they don't know to change the theme in Oxygen OS.
They won't provide replacement if device is brought from Amazon.
I compared my device with my friends OnePlus 7T and i have this green tint , he doesn't..
This green tint is disturb while watching netflix, youtube, playing games.. on apps with grey theme and OnePlus claim this normal...

I regret selling my OnePlus 6

[UPDATE] [11/06/2019]since the replacement period was over , but got a new display at the service center. Now there in no tint

i ordered 2 7T's, both have this issue albeit a little less than the pictures i have seen

Overall i really fancy the 7T screen over the One, 3 and 5 that i own and still actively use. Without the weird tints this may very well be the best display i have laid my eyes on

Hi. Just an update regarding this issue. I bought my on Amazon and I was facing the same issue. I immediately replaced my device from the OnePlus experience store. Surprisingly everyone knew about the issue even before I could explain it to them so I had no issue in replacing the device. They exchanged the device saying that it was completely normal but they would exchange it for the "user satisfaction" but cannot promise that the new phone wouldn't have the same issue. But unfortunately even the replacement device does have this issue and I guess almost every OnePlus 7T has this issue. Surprisingly none of the tech reviewers on YT have addressed this problem yet. I am assuming this can be fixed with a software update as there's no green tint on brightness levels above 40-50%. But right now there's no solution to this problem yet. It's just horrible that OnePlus is claiming this to be 'normal'. I'm just not getting the new phone vibe with this one.

I guess it can't be fixed. Fixing it with disababling the low brightness is no solution. Maybe they can change the color of the dark mode a bit, but it's just a workaround. Oneplus already stated it's an issue with the panel itself. So I'm afraid they have to change something on the hardware level.

My green tint issue is gone when I'm using system wide white theme. In black theme mode the issue persists at a certain brightness level something around 30-40% I'd say. For testing i took a screenshot when the green tint is there. Nothing is visible on the screenshot. So i guess it has something related to hardware.
Should i replace my device or continue using it.
    Advice please

Surprisingly there's a drastic reduction of this green tint when you apply the 60hz refresh. But if this was a software issue the green tint should have been present on our screenshots as well and OnePlus would have fixed it already.

This is not the case for everybody. Some report reduction when switching to 60Hz, other, including myself, don't see any difference

Had mine couple of weeks and to start I didn't notice anything but more and more I began to notice a green hue at the top of the display especially when in dark mode and at a certain dim display around 10/15% taking a picture can clearly see top half of display is different colour ,
Just been on tech chat with Amazon and they have issued me a replacement coming tomorrow , I don't for one min think it will be any better but worth a shot , mines HD1903 EU we will see , if not at least I get a nice new one lol I don't have any OnePlus service centre close or even if there is one in UK.. first off Amazon tech chat said they would need to contact OnePlus to report fualt and get replacement from them well wasn't having that!! as we all know OnePlus customer service is a bit hit or miss with warranty and would prob say it's normal lol , so I just said well unless it's replaced through Amazon the point of purchase then I have till 25th November to return it under the fact it's defective for full refund , she then came back and said as it was for filled and sold by Amazon I could return for refund or have a replacement sent out so got new one arriving tomorrow so fingers crossed it's better or could be worse Lol who knows
