This is little light..some it looks like light grey..

I assume you are asking about increase in brightness in auto under direct sunlight causing screen to display washed out colours.
Its the same with all the phones i guess. Its because phones screen can get more brighter in auto mode then one can get adjusting slider manually. As display get brighter its contrast also increase a bit which is more visible in dark colors like grey and black. Its not a defect its like that only.

Yes, But I have used many phones. of one plus. But in this Nord I am feeling like this...In darkmode, the screen looks like whitish grey..That's why I am mentioning this..I hope this can be corrected in next update.

This will diasppear soon while taking screen shot for the same . The condition of screen is really whitish than what the pic I have uploaded in above msg.

I am not a display expert. But i think this happens with every display above certain brightness level (different for different panels) most probably above manual brightness level (max brightness in nits which is 500 nits for nord). You might never feel this because flagship devices has more max brightness.
I am not sure if it can be fixed with some software.

I also never noticed this on any other phone before I got nord. But i never used auto brightness nor dark mode on any other phone so i might not be able to comment on this.

It's normal. When I go out with my Nord in the sun, my dark mode is slightly altered.
This what I think what happens: The phone uses the ambient light sensor (pocket mode and adaptive brightness uses this too) to adjust to the sun. The sun is brighter than your house lights so your phone adjusts and makes dark mode slightly lighter so it's easier to see in the sun.
Try it: go out in the sun. Phone will adjust and make dark mode lighter. Then cover the ambient light sensor. It'll be back to normal dark mode. Don't worry it's normal.
Also btw, you can't screenshot the altered dark mode like what others were saying.

This is not an issue caused with the display, rather its an issue by the colour pallete used in dark mode by google and oneplus.

the system darkmode and the google dialer and messages uses a slightly darker shade of grey as the default darkmode colour. So when going under direct sunlight, the phone’s auto brightness sensor max outs the brightness and the grey will be visible.
Its not a display issue.

you can check this by opening this image in gallery and turning the brightness to maximum
