Only works on Tmobile & AT&T and their compatible prepaid mobile networks that uses GSM (sim cards). Sprint & Verizon are CDMA networks that doesn't need sim cards so it doesn't work.

I am very confused but it says on the Specs sheet that it is WCDMA Bands 1/2/4/5/8 and LTE 1/3/4/7/17/38/40 so shouldn't this mean that it would be supported on Verizon? What am I missing?

Currently I am grandfathered into an unlimited data plan with Verizon and since people in my situation have to pay for our phones this product would have been perfect for me.

I'm with T-Mobile now, and if/when I pick up the OPO I'm thinking of switching to a prepaid AT&T (Aio or StraightTalk). Seems like the T-Mo network around here kind of sucks. I can watch my Nexus 4 go from no signal to 2g to 4g and back to no signal all day long.

Might switch to a prepaid with AT&T or T-Mobile. Might switch to the regular AT&T, get whatever the current hot selling phone is for a subsidized price and sell it for $600.
