Hey guys, this is an ultimate way to turn your OnePlus One into an Universal Remote Control that can control a DSLR, TV, A/C, STB and a lot more objects which use IR signals.
    -----
    UPDATE 8th Feb 2016:
YAY! new video tut! IK it's very late but yeah :D)

    WRITTEN TUT:

Step 1 You have two options here:
    • Build it yourself! Check this video out:

Here is my One with my own circuit.
I have ordered the product but not yet delivered thus, I had to make it on my own!
I know the photos aren't good quality. Of course, because they aren't taken using a OnePlus One :D

UPDATE (25 July 2015): I got a better IR jack as the previous one didn't function as good as I expected. BETTER IR JACK BUY HERE

Name of new IR jack: Kiwik
This is a better one and has it's own native app! This works awesome! You don't need to refer to steps 2-5 if you are buying Kiwik. The Kiwik app is very easy to use and very self explanatory. If you don't understand how to use it, read the steps below for ZaZaRemote. Both apps are very similar, only difference is that Kiwik app works better and requires Kiwik IR Jack

These steps are only for the old accessory or if you made the IR jack on your own.
Step 2 Download this app which will enable sending IR signals: ZaZa Remote

Next, make sure your accessory is attached.

Step 3 Then, continue by clicked "Add Remote".

Step 4 If you've connected the IR jack, the device is detected and you are in the application. Then select the gadget you want to control.

Step 5 Click the power off button. If it works, click "Has Response" and if it doesn't click "No Response" [This will take you to other IR signal]

The App will show only sone signals at first, if none work, the app will increase the amount of signals which you can try out!

Once you finally set it up, you can now control your devices with your OnePlus One! :)
    Happy To Help :)

Also if you try it out, don't forget to leave your feedback :)

I have similar one, but connected to micro usb, not jack. Works like a charm.

Why a link to download a zip file from another site instead of from Google Play?

I have not tried jack audio, but usb version bought from ali works on my oneplus without any problem, including ir codes learning. I can use my phone as a remote for any device I want to
