[GUIDE FOR MAC] How to Unlock Bootloader, Install Custom Recovery & Root (Macbook Pro)

    I am a mac user.I unlocked the boot loader and installed the TWRP lastest one through ADB .. When i reboot into recovery i am not getting TWRP , CM recovery is loading
    Pls help me.

    Looks like your flash was unsuccessful, uncheck update CM recovery from developer options and flash twrp again

    First time itself,i unchecked it. unchecked the CM recovery and done flashing 4 times...No use...still CM recovery is coming. @Funk Wizard

    First checked ADB in settings->then unlocked Bootloader(phone completely erased)->rebooted,Enabled ADB,disabled CM recovery,ADB command for recovery with Recovery img file->restarted.... then rebooted into recovery but CM came ...:(:(:(

    Buddy check the downloaded image again may be a bad download. All u have to do is download the image again reboot into bootloader and

    ./fastboot flash recovery (Drag & Drop the recovery img on the Terminal) Hit Enter Done :D

    ./fastboot reboot
    The device would reboot & Now your device has custom TWRP Recovery

    i ll tried it..Can i delete the recovery using ADB command and loaded it again..Will it be good to do like this?

    Welcome buddy.. I just use stock settings on synapse just UC and UV slightly nothing over the top

    @Funk Wizard I'm have the same problem, I've attempted to install the twrp recovery several times now but when rebooting into recovery it's still CM, it's unchecked and everything. Not sure how to proceed.

    I followed everything as you mentioned till flashing TWRP and everything went fine, no error but When I do this it opens CM recovery mode

    What do you mean by "delete the recovery using ADB command" . I'm also facing the same problem and don't know how to solve it.
