I would imagine it's pretty similar...have you tried to plug it in and see what it says?

I understand your predicament! Keep us in the loop? I don't have a OPT yet so I can't really help at this point!

When I try to install UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip it says installation failed. Can someone help me? Is the recovery mode supposed to have a 1+ symbol and stars background?

It went well for me. Now I haven't had any heavy usage since I have to get my case and sim card this week, but the process went pretty smoothly once I understood the directions. That was the difficult part for me because all the files weren't there and I didn't know what I was doing, but after that it went pretty good.

I did this on a OnePlus 2 because that's what I thought it was for originally and it worked fine.

No worries, if you want some screenshots or something I'll try and get them up. I don't know how I can prove it, but I promise I did LOL!! Hopefully you have more experience then I do because I was about to give up because I couldn't even get past the unlocking bootloader stage LOL. It was a mess LOL

After typing in ./fastboot oem unlock nothing happens, it just stays on the fastboot page. After restarting the phone (holding the power button until it turns on and then just turning it on normally) the phone is still in its old state (ie it hasn't reset itself). What am I doing wrong?

Would also like to add that after I do the ./adb reboot bootloader command I believe that the device disconnects to the computer, and so that may be be why it is not resetting. What I have typed in (as you can see, I can type the oem unlock infinite times and still nothing happens):

    Code:
    Platons-MacBook-Air:~ Platon$ cd Desktop/android/Android-SDK/platform-tools
    Platons-MacBook-Air:platform-tools Platon$ ./adb devices
    List of devices attached
    {NUMBERS & STUFF HERE} device

    Platons-MacBook-Air:platform-tools Platon$ ./adb reboot bootloader
    Platons-MacBook-Air:platform-tools Platon$ ./fastboot oem unlock
    ...
    OKAY [ 0.006s]
    finished. total time: 0.006s
    Platons-MacBook-Air:platform-tools Platon$ ./fastboot oem unlock
    ...
    OKAY [ 0.006s]
    finished. total time: 0.006s
    Platons-MacBook-Air:platform-tools Platon$
