I don't see an option for LTE/GSM auto (PRL). Nothing with LTE and GSM in the same.
My phone started not taking or making calls about a week or so ago. This only seems to happen when LTE is preferred; when 3g is preferred it is able to make and take calls. Any ideas?

I have the exact same problem: people who call me go straight to voice mail, I get a text message later that someone called me, but no missed calls on my device. This happens only when I select "LTE preferred", not when I'm on 2G. For some reason, 3G doesn't give me any signal whatsoever.
I already tried flashing all possible radios, did a factory reset, flashed Franco Kernel, but nothing helps. OP support tells me it's the network and suggests that I return my phone for repair (paid, yea right). My carrier claims it's the phone.
One friend of mine has the exact same phone/ROM, but on a different network -> no problems
One other guy I helped flash Lineage has the same phone/ROM on the same network -> no problems

OPO running latest LineageOS 14.1, carrier Telenet in Belgium.

Very very strange, If your on att, there is no volte on unlocked phones so calls can't be made via lte, so what every other carrier does if your phone doesn't have volte is they make calls of hspa or 2g network. So thats why you can only make calls over 3g preferred. I would flash a rom or something to see why you don't have those settings.

Look at my post above the other one, I can tell you why its happened but I can't tell you why your phone isn't showing the settings. I currently don't even own a OPO anymore so i can't be any help there. As you mentioned it works for some and for you it doesn't, maybe something changed that im not aware off. Sorry if i couldn't be able help there.

Being more and more convinced that it's hardware, not software, I took the plunge and ordered myself a new phone. Not a OnePlus this time, because it's become very expensive over time...

Yea i know, its kinda ridiculous, wanting to go back to the opo price days. I mean phones are probably planning on going up and the new mid range is 600 to 700 while low end will be 400 or 300 and high end flash ship will be thousand, Soon we will be getting into pc gaming territory.

I got myself a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Global - similar or superior to the OPO except for the lack of NFC.

So I have a unlocked S10e from Verizon and my carrier is MetroPCS. These are my tests. Somehow global beat everything but I'm gonna stick with LTE/CDMA[IMG]

Weird how LTE/CDMA had no upload.. but the Download is good...

Idk what one to use. Lol

I had the same issue with my tmobile oneplus 7t. Fixed it by dialing *#*#4636#*#* then phone information -> then selecting under preferred network type: "GMS/WCDMA/LTE (PRL)". the default that it was set to that was causing me issues was "LTE/TDSCDMA/GSM?WCDMA"

thank you so much for this tutorial !!!!!!
