    Weird, no such issues here...
Do you still pass the 2 safety net tests?

Thank you to all that have posted on this thread.

It has helped me get the app up and running on my OP5t non rooted. Just getting into the nook and crannies of Pie as it's only been pushed through.

What are people's thoughts on Wellbeing as I have read mixed reviews on it thus far

Not quite, my OP5t isn't rooted and it's working but then I've just installed it too

    Thanks for your feedback!

My thoughts on Digital Wellbeing are that I use it less often than I thought I would. It's still nice to have, especially for app restrictions.

It lacks some neat features that Apple's Digital Wellbeing solution has, but it will surely evolve over time. Just as Apple's solution lacks core features of Digital Wellbeing.

Feel free to share your own thoughts on it once you've tested it, I'm curious as well because I have yet to make up my mind concerning DW.

So I'm not sure what to make of DW at the moment. my biggest gripe probably is the battery life since the update. Not being able to have battery saving mode clearly shows a difference.

This is good as it shows me how many times I've unlocked my phone and how many notifications as well as how long I've spent on apps but it's nothing that I didn't really know I guess. Think the main difference is where a time has been added to it.

I'll stick with the app for a while and decide what I'll do going forward as I want to try and improve my battery life first.

It's even easier now thanks to Pixel Shortcuts app from the dev of Action Launcher.
    - Install the digital wellbeing apk.
    - Install Pixel Shortcuts app from the Playstore.
    - Open Pixel Shortcuts.
    - Create Digital Wellbeing shortcut on desktop.
    - Access Digital Wellbeing and go to settings and enable the icon in the app drawer.
    - Uninstall Pixel Shortcuts. [optional]

It's the exact same thing as you would do with the thread here, if I'm not mistaken...

That's how the non-root solution works in my post
install the apk, use anything that's capable of launching a service (like a Launcher or an app that does the job) and the the other steps. I'll edit my post and add the link to your solution to the rootless tutorial, it's nicely detailed and has images and all.
    Thanks for posting!

I installed as suggested in the steps above, but both app timers and winddown don't seem to be working correctly. I have enabled usage access. As I read through the thread it looks like conflicting information. Is it correct that these don't work? Or am I missing something?

Hey you two, I think app timers and limits are limited (no pun intended) to the root way!
I'll test it out and give you feedback :)
