dsmonteiro, Oct 20, 2017 : Howdy! EDIT: This guide was originally made to revert from Beta Oreo to stock Nougat but the steps in this guide also work for Stock Oreo. Seems like some of you are struggling to get back to Stock Nougat after trying Oreo Beta. This guide's job is to help you in that process. Note: Please note that you will lose your data after finishing this process. This is a mandatory step to get back to Stock Oxygen OS. If you decide to stay with Nougat Open Beta you will only lose partial data (The build will wipe app and cache data, but Internal Storage will be saved (ie: pictures and files)). Disclaimer: I don't have a OnePlus 3 to test this guide with but these are the steps you need to take. In the event that something goes wrong, I'm not responsible for it. Files you'll need: OnePlus 3: OnePlus 3 OBT 24 (Special build): Here | Mirror: Here. OnePlus 3 Stock 4.5.1: Here | Mirror: Here. OnePlus 3T: OnePlus 3T OBT 15 (Special build): Here | Mirror: Here. OnePlus 3T Stock 4.5.1: Here | Mirror: Here. Instructions: Backup everything you need. You will lose data after this process is done. Download the files above for your OnePlus 3 / 3T. This are the official files directly from OnePlus. Copy the two files to your phone's internal storage. Reboot your phone into recovery mode. To do this, shut down your device and turn it back on while holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously. Choose “Install from Local” Install the Special build (O2N_OBT_15801_OXYGEN_SIGN_wipe.zip) Reboot. After this step you'll be on Nougat Open Beta 24 / 15. You can choose to stay with this ROM or revert completely to stock Oxygen OS. Continue with the steps below to fully revert to Stock Oxygen OS. Reboot your phone into recovery mode again. Choose “Install from Local” Install the Stock 4.5.1 for your OP3 / 3T (the other file). Select Wipe data and cache > Factory reset and tap: Yes". Reboot. At this point your phone will be fully wiped and on Stock 4.5.1. You'll need to go through the initial setup and redownload / copy files to your phone again. Please leave your feedback. Cheers and I hope this helps!
