[GUIDE] Mega Unbrick Guide for A Hard Bricked OnePlus 7 Pro

  1. Titokhan Honeycomb May 28, 2019

    Titokhan, May 28, 2019 :
Similar to the previous threads for OnePlus 2, OnePlus 3 (3T), OnePlus 5 (5T) and OnePlus 6, here are the necessary packages to unbrick/revive a hard bricked OnePlus 7 Pro.

The following hardware revisions are supported:
    • GM1910: China
    • GM1911: India
    • GM1913: Europe
    • GM1917: Global/US Unlocked
    Download: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=294744
    • In every case, it is possible to upgrade to latest OxygenOS by using full signed zip from this thread via Local Upgrade.
    • With the device powered off, hold Volume Up & Volume Down buttons to force it to boot to Qualcomm download mode.
    • Use the most updated signed driver (2.1.2.2 at this moment) to avoid potential issues..
    • For detailed procedures, please consult the linked threads above. There is no reason to repeat the same thing again.
    • Make sure the path of the extracted files doesn't contain any non-English character. The tool isn't unicode aware.

will this guide also work for the T-Mobile variant, or do we still need to wait for the MSMDownload tool that's currently password protected?

What's the difference between Europe and Global firmware?

I think it was part of conflict will EU laws. Some privacy conserns. So some parts are simply removed for EU builds. I could not find a source on that right now though.

Does this procedure erase all the data, config, images, etc? Just as the reset factory settings?

    Thank you in advance

I just want to downgrade from 9.5.7 to 9.5.5 as the 9.5.7 patch has made my 7 Pro UK sin free phone a glitch buggy mess. Do I just download the EU 9.5.5 recovery image and go to boot recovery to downgrade
