It can inject modules in the system and give you several functions and features like those of CM even on a stock ROM. More customizability and awesomeness.

OK that's great! Will it prevent dash charging from working?

I don't think so. Unless you mess up that program which checks if the charger connected is a dash one or not, I guess? That being done with Xposed unintentionally is very improbable.

Somehow Xposed severely slows down my OnePlus 3 on OOS official, even without modules.

What about the Xposed Systemless versions? Will they work on OP3 correctly? I rather not change the system partition as I'd like to receive OTAs in the future.

The Xposed framework slows down my OP3 too, but only when i add and enable modules. It all becomes really stuttery

Well I am... Xposed framework is not "sticking" installation on twrp goes smoothly, it even creates a file name xposed.prop under system. But when I reboot into system that file is no longer there and I checked for permissions on the system folder and they are all active, any ideas on how to fix this?

if you are in 3.2.4, I had the same problem...
    wipe cache /dalvik/ data
    Reinstall 3.2.2
    Wipe cache / dalvik
    install OOS 3.2.4 full Rom
    Wipe cache/ dalvik
    Install SuperSU
    Wipe cache / dalvik
    Install XPosed v86 sdk23 arm64
    Wipe cache / dalvik
    Reboot
