I have the same problem, but also if you change from Dark to White and after a bit back to Dark, it appears again. Seems to be related to the Dark theme itself. Seems also that is draining a bit more the battery. Hopefully will be solved i the next minor update.

Turned out it was just a fluke or coincidence. I think the notification appears when there's an app running in the background that uses an auto theme settings based on your systems theme, such as the store

This can happen when a mod merges a new, redundant thread, with an existing thread...

I too have the same problem but in my case the apps crash on my op6t after the update.
I can’t play online cuz the app crashes every time. (It’s not a problem with the app cuz I have reinstalled and cleared cache)
    Same with YouTube too.

Do a full Erase/Delete Data button, factory reset. This will restore you to a fresh installation of Android. So you will need to backup your phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

Go to Settings, System, Reset Options, Erase All Data, click on the Delete All Data button,

For more info on how to backup your phone, check the solutions here.

It's not an issue... this is a feature of Android 10.

According to the notification name, it's specific to OP. Still not an issue.

so you're telling me that if you were using a phone that didn't do that, and all of sudden a new phone you get starts to notify all the time it's not an issue? c'mon now it becomes an issue when something is ab normal.

Is it intrusive to your daily use? Not really. It only lasts a few seconds, why make a huge deal out of it?

that's like saying I bought a new car but it makes a ticking sound. it doesn't affect the day to day use, but it shouldn't make a ticking sound. so it's an issue.

Kytharsis, stop this. You don't get to be the judge as to what is intrusive or not. Changing the theme is NOT a solution to this problem (and yes, it is a problem).

This notification pops up over a dozen times a day, it provides no useful information, is not under my control. It is not expected or desired behaviour, and it only shows up on a recent version of OxygenOS. Its existence is a bug.

I like my theme the way it is. Changing it to remove this notification is a ludicrous suggestion.

Your contribution to this thread has been to tell people over and over that their problem is not a problem and they should either accept it or change their theme. Move along if you're not going to be helpful.

As mentioned before about this issue, the suggestion below will reduce those notifications until OnePlus change it.

You can minimise the app notifications, and possibly silence any sound it makes.

    Go to Settings>Apps and notifications>All x apps>3 dot menu>Show system apps>Android System>Notifications|>FG OPThemes...

Select - Other less important without sound and Vibration.

    Should reduce intrusions.

Reduction is definitely a start, thank you. I use pushbullet to broadcast my notifications to my pc, so we'll see how well this works.

I've had this for a very long time, just managed to stop it.
Every day for me at 9pm autou starts, and that's what it's notifying, it's downloading.
quickly caught it and turned all download notifications off, it's now gone.
