Has your Google Play Store updated itself to 5.1.11? Does it work?

?

Which Play Store version is on your OnePlus One? If it is 5.1.11, does it work?

This is just out of curiosity. On my OPO, the Play Store stays in version 5.0.38 and claims to be up to date if I tap on the version number in the settings screen. I have a couple of other Android devices with Play Store 5.1.11 (with the new My Account section), which is why I was curious why this has not appeared on the One.

There have been a couple of threads here where people complain about Play Store crashing. My suspicion is that Google has disabled the Play Store update on the OPO because of a bug, but haven't found any corroborating information elsewhere. I thought I could get some insight into the situation by trying to poll users. Not that it matters: surely a working update will appear at a future date anyway.

[Update: Play Store now updated to 5.1.11 and working. The update was just considerably later than on my other devices. Slightly embarrassing to fuss over it, really.]

OK, so initial results show that not everyone has a problem with 5.1.11. Lack of update should not be dependent of Cyanogen updates; my OPO is unrooted with 44S, but I have the new Play Store already in an old tablet with ICS, so OS version should not matter.

I read about Google Play store version 5.1.11 few days ago but it was not rolled out till that time in my region (india). Just checked now & it was upgraded to version 5.1.11. So i can assure you that google has not disabled new play store update rolling out. Althought the device is not OnePlus One. waiting for accessories to be available at amazon india before i start using my phone. cannot take the risk :)

Found this thread because my OPO is having problems with 5.1.11. It downloaded the update all on its own... And I have the problem where the app crashes everytime I run it.. It stays on the menu screen of the play store then crashes. If I downgrade to the factory version, it works... But them it'll update itself within 30 seconds and stop working. I've tried disabling the update service, but it seems to update itself no matter what... Very annoying... I can't use play store at all now. I'm running 44S rooted. OTA updates only.

    Try manual update maybe?
to do this just go to settings-> Apps-> All-> Google Play Store-> Is there an option for updating it?
