Just checked now as I didn't bother before. It's 5.1.11 and working fine. No rooting or custom ROM as yet.

Got the 5.1.11 update myself, finally. Everything is working fine. Starting this thread was probably not a very bright idea, but in my defence the Play Store on the OPO got updated almost 4 days later than my 3 other devices (old backup phone and 2 tablets). So it seems that the problems some people are having are related to specific configurations.

Same for me. Exactly as you describe.
Edit: Fixed for me by changing to light theme.

I had the same problem using a dark theme, changed to light and all fixed. Hope they fix the theme compatibility.

Exact same issue. I also had a Dark theme on my OPO, could not find any solution to th ePlay Store crashing. Swapping to a light theme seems to have done the trick though.

My problem turned out to be my CM11 theme was incompatible with the new version. But the theme maker gave an update and it works now!

    Yuss!

Wasn't working with themed Play Store. Took a Theme now without themed store and works perfectly.
