Never used a custom mod, but that's just because I don't know my *** from my elbow when flashing Roms and popping kernals(is that a thing or am I thinking popcorn?).
I Can't wait to have a stock OS that will allow such customization without risk of bricking the phone.

I've been using CM for some years. I own a Samsung Galaxy S (yes, the first generation of the S family) and Samsung stopped developing for it, so I tried CM and I'm very happy with it.

I've used Android custom ROMS since my first Android Mobile: HTC Magic (second handset of Google and HTC). I'm very happy changing firmware versions of my mobile collection, and yes: I used CyanogenMod. And all of his versions: it is a solid base for all other ROMS.

Have used CM a lot - most recently with a LGG2 - that phone had great hardware but CM took it to another level software-wise - much nicer than the LG firmware. Also phone ran perfectly and had great battery life.

Looking forward to seeing the extras that 11s brings :)

I am currently using Carbon ROM, and love it. From what i've seen of CM11 the two aren't that different, so I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it... If I can get One(Plus)
