    Oneplus3 has one of the worst hdr modes I've ever seen. Even my mi3 had a much better hdr

    There have been reports of faulty modules, so do a search under advanced to find the threads for more info.

    Well thank you for replying. I am still waiting to get the 3.2.8 Update indeed, but:

    1) unfortunately it won't fix the very poor equipped Camera App. (Had a HTC One before running a 2014 KitKat (!) whose App was ways - and by this I mean lightyears - better!).
    Selfie Cam with its 2.1MP (even had to look it up again to be sure) has a wider angle, Rear Cam a better low-light Performance with its 2.0 µm and f2.0 on "only" 4 MP.

    2) yes, raw Support is there and yes, I do know very well how to use Snapseed. I have to because it doesn't cover up the fact that I had to use it every time I want to produce an at least 'okay-to-share' picture without getting embarassed of a poor Auto-Mode and lack of details in non-perfect lighting situations (as shown in your examples)

    I don't want to say the camera(s) are not useful, but only 1 or 2 years ago it really was possible to shoot good photos without editing, just saying.

    @OnePlus:

    I'd really like to get a future update on the camera UI and its capacity cause its far more capable due to its superb performance and hope there will be UI changes in it. (Manual mode looks like a joke at the moment. Just get inspired by LG, HTC or Samsung and you See what I mean. A good looking UI makes a Big difference!)

    I actually didn't know this until know lol. HDR+ is trademarked for monitor displays. it's just Google's HDR mode is better because Google had full reign over hardware and software allowing them to optimize the phone better
