headphone is not working

    guys a serious help needed, my head phone was working fine but it's not working for past two days and it's a 6 week old one plus 6t McLaren editon ,I tried searching for help in related threads but lots seems not fixed !! is there any solution? I tried restarting the device and also there's no dust in the jack.

    I plugged in the headphone jack the notification which comes as headphone detected isn't coming and the sound is playing through phone speakers.

    Which headphones? Did you check if the headphones is damaged?

    the headphone are working fine in all other device and it's a original Sony headphone which was working in my phone before two days I don't know what really happened and when I saw related threats there seems to be a problem like this for other one plus users for their headphone to not work ,out of nowhere.

    yup just checked on another device I think the converter isn't working.

    Try to clean it with some cotton swabs? if that doesn't help, i guess u need to replace your headphone jack.
